A while after the news that the russians blew up the Kakhovka Dam, I was unable to draw anything. It was such pain and shock, like when the full-scale invasion started. People are suffering, losing homes, and the ecological consequences will last for decades, if not forever, changing one of the most fertile soils in the world, killing the fragile harmony of the ecosystems. The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant could overheat without the great amounts of water needed to cool down the reactors. And also there are reports about russian mining of the nuclear power plant.

Now I finally created this artwork, in which I am reflecting on the whole situation and its effects.
