Russian ship! Fuck you!

On February 24, 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a garrison of Ukrainian border guards stationed on Zmeinyi Island was attacked by Russian ships. When the captain of the cruiser Moskva offered to surrender, one of the marines, Roman Gribov, gave an expressive response in Russian, in which he combined swearing with a firm intention to remain loyal to his homeland. The phrase “Russian warship, go fuck yourself!” instantly became widely known and caused a significant public outcry. Despite the obscene form of the phrase, it was praised as an adequate response to Russia's unprovoked aggression.
